Noted and signed. This has to stop.
Isaac Bashevis Singer Nobel Peace Prize Winner wrote in his book, 'Enemies a love story', "As often has Herman had witnessed the slaughter of animals and fish, he always had the same thought. In their behaviour toward creatures, all men were Naziís. The smugness with which man could do with other species as he pleased exemplify the most extreme racist theories the principle that might is right. Lest we forget!

THANK YOU!
Thanks for taking action to end live exports.

If it's not too much trouble there's one more very important thing you can do to increase the pressure to end the mistreatment of animals in the live export trade

Thank You!
Thanks for taking action to end live exports.

If it's not too much trouble there's one more very important thing you can do to increase the pressure to end the mistreatment of animals in the live export trade. You can let your family and friends know about it by sharing the campaign far and wide using the handy tool on the right.

PS - it's thanks to the relentless campaigning to end live exports by Animals Australia that these atrocities came to light. You can find out more about the campaign by visiting them at: www.animalsaustralia.org/faq

STOP SENDING SHEEP TO PAKISTAN -- the country with the highest rate of video rental of men having sex with animals.

This country also has one of the highest child labor rates, the highest number Islamic honor of killings, the highest number of Muslims kidnapping Christian and Hindu girls, raping them, forcing them to convert to Islam and marrying them.

PEOPLE AND ANIMALS DON'T DESERVE THIS FATE.

Have already signed. The Australian government knows that the live animals will be cruelly abused after an horrendous journey to reach Muslim hands. Several times they have almost passed legislation but don't. IT IS UNACCEPTABLE THAT THE AUSTRALIAN ALLOWS LIVE EXPORT KNOWING THAT THE ANIMALS WILL SUFFER EXTREME CRUELTY.

Thanks for posting this dreadful story, Florence. I've already signed this petition.
The live animal trade is a blight on Australia's reputation and must be stopped, especially to Muslim countries which treat these poor animals with extreme cruelty.

S & N! this is just an unbelievable waste of such precious animals and again, I will state that these also are the most docile innocent of all animals as a natural personality type which also adds to the great sadness to see the opening picture....I would not view the horrific pictures as I don't want those imprints seared into my consciousness!

Every time you eat meat of any kind remember this horror. It is naive in the extreme, and self-delusional, to pretend that animals don't suffer very similar terror, pain and abuse in slaughter houses. They do. There are videos taken undercover of the cruelty and suffering in these slaughterhouses in the West. So don't kid yourselves. Every time you eat an animal, that animal has had to suffer, and sometimes they are even butchered while still alive.

Please read "Eating Animals' by Jonathan Safran Foer to learn about his investigation into how animals are treated in US slaughter houses and how they are raised for slaughter. He became a vegan after what he learned. And the suffering doesn't begin there, it begins on the farms.

If you truly love animals and respect their rights as sentient beings, then DON'T EAT THEM!!!

BUT this doesn't explain why these poor sheep were slaughtered and then just dumped in a mass grave. Why? Why weren't they eaten? What a horrible waste!

This is why we are vegans. We oppose the suffering of any sentient beings, including veal calves from milk cows and baby boy chicks dumped into grinders live for pet food because they don't lay eggs. Eating any animal products causes suffering and death.

For every action there is a reaction. According to the law of karma, if we cause

pain and suffering to other living beings, we must endure pain and suffering in

return, both individually and collectively. We reap what we sow, in this life and

the next, for nature has her own justice. No one can escape the law of karma.
