Great article. Our town offers free local public transport for all visitors and residents at a very low cost (5 euros for 2 years) but I'd like to see them improve cycle paths and pedestrian areas.

I'd like to see these initiaves happening in all cities including my country. In addition to creating more people-friendly cities, it would help reduce our use of oil.
