Surely if these dogs are being neglected in such an appalling way then they could be seized. Otherwise why on earth doesn't someone, anyone, just get some food to these dogs? I don't understand how anyone can just watch these dogs die a slow miserable death.

thank you all for your support on this issue and for the letters. I think the rcmp officer is standing in the way of them being seized. If I hear anything I will let you know. This is as far north as you get wtihout floating in the arctic ocean.. right at the very top on the world. the spca is trying very hard on this.

This is truly awful. I myself would just go there regardless of what anyone or any law suggests,and unchain,feed and bring these poor souls back to my place. So why the bloody hell can someone not just go get these dogs into some shelter???Everyday there's another sad story as this one. Where is humanity????

I don't get it...this is an old article from 2009, either the dogs died or they were rescued. But certainly they are not going to be chained without food or water for over 3 years. Are is there something I didn't quite understand here?

I saw just now how old this story is so why has it resurfaced??? What is the point of upsetting people if the article is over 3 years old??? I dont get this at all surely there must be some sort of vetting stories?? Any way what happened here to these poor forgotten dogs??? does anyone know?? did they all die as i suspect.Maybe a new update would be nice if possible.

This petition was started in Jan 2009, can someone update this please, because I cannot believe these poor dogs are still alive. If they are still alive then surely someone should have rescued them by now. Would be wonderful to hear that they were rescued and are alive and happy.em,

I made a comment on February 26th 2013. Still no update on these poor dogs and it is now April 2013. Can the person who started the petition update us so we can find out what has happened to these poor dogs. I pray with all my heart that these dogs have been saved and they are now being loooked after properly.

This was originally posted over 4 years ago. Why is it still being posted? Whatever the fate of these poor dogs, has occurred already, and there is nothing anyone can do now.
It is appalling that the officials dragged their feet for as long as they did, and they should be, if still in their positions, removed as they clearly have no compassion for suffering.
