If I could get this dog to Cape Town, I would take him without hesitation. This poor man, my heart goes out to him and his dog - doesn't he have children or family/friends that could take this beautiful animal. My door and house is open, but how would I get the dog.

Im a volunteer for a dog rescue in san Diego, Ca. If we could get the pup here, we cud foster him until he got a great home with a great family. The rescue is called A WISH FOR ANIMALS. Please get in touch with me if this becomes a possibility. There are airlines that fly dogs in the cabin and our non profit rescue could maybe raise the money for the fare. Please keep us all posted. This is the fear that any pet owner has. What will happen to my pets when I'm not here any longer? I hope he finds a rescue organization to help him out. This is just awful.

I dully believe that a family member will come through or a close friend. This precious man should not dear as I know that his wish shall be fulfilled. I know that when one loves Gods creatures so mush and their concern is all about the welfare of that animal...Then there is ZERO doubt that God will intervene with this situation and this dog will stay with this man until this man goes home to God whereby the dog will then move on to his new forever home and the both will be reunited one day!!!

I hope someone steps up. Is there no family or friends that will do this for him? There are places that will keep your pet for it's life time. It's been a while since I last researched them, but found a couple in the midwest. In my will I have several thousands of dollars set aside for my pets to go to this places.
