Were Adam and Eve ruling hybrids cloned by Manipulative Extraterrestrials to "rule" of over our human ancestors that had previously existed billions of years.....

Poe's law states that "Without a winking smiley or other blatant display of humor, it is impossible to create a parody of fundamentalism that someone won't mistake for the real thing."

I'd say that this calls for a case of modified Poe's law - "Without a winking smiley or other blatant display of humor, it is impossible to create a parody of pseudoscientific history that someone won't mistake for the real thing".

I honestly don't know whether this article is a parody of the people who believe in lizard men and a whole host of conspiracy-flavored alternative histories, or the real thing.

In case it is the real thing: wow. There's more than a mountain of evidence for the ancestry of humans as a completely natural branch of the great apes - not only the fossil evidence bears this out, but our genes spell this history out about as clearly as possible; our relation to all living creatures on Earth is without reasonable doubt.

Thus any fantasy that has humanity being "billions of years old", rather than mere millions (if you count the pre-homo sapiens ancestors from who'm we are descended), is just that - a fantasy. And humans having lizard-like ancestors? Not recently! Back when our distant ancestors moved from the sea to land, yeah, I guess you could call them "lizard like" - but that has no relation to the fantasy - that I hope was parody - that was linked to here.

No, nobody seriously is suggesting that, none at all, all claims of otherwise are loony.

If indeed such a thing happened, it was the most destructive and disastrous act perpetuated upon planet Earth....

WTF is this nonsense doing among the science articles? Carl Sagan said, "Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence" (close quote).

This is a joke, of course. I guess it's a satire on the loons who believe that an imaginary sky spirit created us.

Someone referred me to David Icke's website thbe other day for irrefurable "proof" of something or the other. Perhaps this is to do with him as he also believes in lizard gods.

If one does their study of the Bible following the proper method of study, ie. comparing Scripture with Scripture and recognising that there IS a being who exists that Jesus referred to as a liar and a murderer, and recognising that this being has extremely high intelligence with the capability of manipulating information in such a way that it looks as if it is truth, one can then realise that this being has the capacity to infiltrate into the minds of humans, definite suggestions of truth that is mixed with error.

The purpose of this being is to eliminate belief in God the Real Creator. Whereas God can only use Truth and Love, this being referred to as originally Lucifer and later as Satan, uses every conceivable method he can for the purpose of deceit. By eliminating the Creation story and the fall of man, he then can open to human kind a multitude of different and differing thesis of the possible beginnings of humanity.

Mr Sitchin has presented ideas on the subject and was even quoted by Jonathan Gray in some of his books until he found that some folks were sending him questions regarding Sitchin's "authoritative" discoveries. Gray felt that these folks deserved answers to their questions and so wrote to Mr Sitchin respectfully asking for his evidence. After some time Sitchin answered and stated that it was all in the Sumerian Tablets. To do fairness to Sitchin Gray then did a great deal of research into the quoted Sumerian Tablets. He was astounded to find that the Sumerian Tablets had in fact been deciphered and decoded so that anyone could now read them and a number of people had eagerly searched for confirmation of Sitchin's findings only to find that it was nothing more than a figment of Sitchin's imagination. Gray then wrote a book on his personal investigation of Sitchin's theories as compared to what is there for everyone to read for themselves.

Sitchin's theories are not just unique to him but are shared by others. Gray's book "Sitchin Fiction" is well worth the read as it deals with facts not theories. I know that some folks think that Gray is a looney and they skip through the information that he writes making comments from their own limited ideas without so much as checking to see what Gray has found over many years of investigation. Gray also willingly admits that at times he has not done his proper research to its fullest extent that he should have done. He then does further investigation so he can not be accused the second time. He does not have an interest in just theories he wants real facts on a situation before he presents his findings. Here is his comment on his research into the Sumerian tablets.

Yes, there is one particular seal that contains an interesting picture - which, according to Mr Sitchin, shows a 12th planet in our solar system. It is the VA243 seal.
And I think Zecharia Sitchin genuinely believed this one, because on the surface it looks plausible. And I caught his enthusiasm about it – even to support him in my first book.
But closer examination reveals that in this VA243 seal there is no depiction of the solar system, at all. (See Chapter 9.)
Among all the many hundreds of texts that the Sumerians have left for us, Sitchin’s theory hinges upon this one single seal.
Without it now, his theory is in shambles. One may continue to fantasise, but...
• There is no text that says Nibiru is a planet beyond Pluto.
• There is no text that says Nibiru is connected with the Anunnaki.
• There is no text that says the Anunnaki were space travellers.
• There is no text that says Nibiru is a planet that passes through our solar system every 3,600 years.
There is no Sumerian text – not even a single line of one cuneiform text - that says any of these things.
pp 186 Is this Sitchin Fiction.

Things are not always factual just because someone has theorised about something and it looks feasible. Remember, Jesus referred to the deceiver not only as a liar but also a murderer. Man's inhamanity to his fellow man is the result of the deceiver's work and every murder ever committed must be laid at the feet of this most beautiful of all of God's Creation, Lucifer, because he thought he deserved equality with his Creator. just goes to show how he will do whatever and use whoever he can for his dastardly purposes.

And before anyone starts quoting how God commanded the destruction of certain peoples in the Old Testament, take note that the Israelites were warned that IF they were to degrade to the level that these people were, they too would receive the same punishment themselves. they did not follow God's laws which commanded them to take care not only of the environment but also to take care of humanity and nurture instead of callously USING their fellow man. Biblical history records the demise of the Israelites until they were taken into captivity by Pagan nations that God used to chastise them. You will also notice that in each of these situations there were honest God fearing men who went through the punishment BUT did not lose their Faith in God and were elevated to high positions even in the Pagan Governments. They were a positive witness in showing those Pagan Monarchs that there is a God in Heaven who cares about humanity AND His people who Love, serve and respect Him. If you can't see that, then you are following the deceitfulness of God's opposition and believing the lies he is spreading via misinformation as presented in the above article.

@Hartson Doak: If you're going to quote Carl Sagan's movie Contact, at least understand that Sagan would have no patience with this ridiculous article. There not only isn't extraordinary evidence presented - there is NO evidence whatsoever!
