I admire and respect what these brave women in Egypt are trying to accomplish. Yet as I read the article it struck a very painful chord in me. Much of what the Egyptian women are suffering, we women in America are also suffering from these same injustices! Ask the young woman in Steubenville, Oh. Who was raped. Then CNN has the audacity to have empathy for the ruined life of the RAPIST! Or the backlog in arizona that the fuotuto Joe Arpaio has not bothered to even bothered to investigate, it is not just a few cases, it is over 400 cases! Here in the USA the victims of rape are attacked with questions about their own behavior or mode of dress etc.... And we may vaunt ourselves about our freedoms here in America, yet look at what Sandra Fluke had to endure from the likes of limpdoug rush! We are under attack for such basic things as the availability of birth control, the morning after pill and abortion. Even planned parenthood has been attacked and defunded. If anything we American women need to take a page out of the Egyptian women's handbook and PROTEST EVERYWHERE are rights are being attacked! The Christian WRONG is our American sharia.

I was in Egypt and left just before the original riots, when I was there the police were so much more friendly than they are here, and I did not see any women being treated badly. Guess things have changed for the worse.

These brave women are resisting enforcement of the Sharia laws, coming on them from the Muslim Brotherhood extremists. As long, as that extremist Brotherhood remains in power, these women have no hope.
