Russell's the Man. Thank you, Russell.

“At one point, it was common to see Australian truck drivers throwing litter out of the windows of their cars because everyone else was doing it. Now, there has been a huge public outcry against this behaviour and it has stopped. The same can be done for slavery,” he said."

Yes, behavior can change and real action to end this abomination can be implemented if we had Human Beings capable of FEELING emotions seated in governments around the world.

And the USA had the exact same problem in regards to litter here in the 60s-70s. When I look back and remember it, I cringe. There was a very famous PSA in the 70's that helped to change everything, have a look: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Suu84khNGY

“It is time to draw a line and say, no more,” he said. “This isn’t Aids or malaria, it is a man-made problem that can be solved, and it’s time to take real action to free the world from slavery once and for all.”

Yes. It is 2016 CE NOT 2016 BC. "Their" slavery networks that span our beautiful world will end!

Noted. Shocking. People need to be educated around this, to ask the origin of every single thing that is worn, used, consumed.

Walk Free Foundation, backed by Russell Crowe, names India as having highest number of slaves in the world.

India better start doing a lot better within it's own Country. It is trying to live like a modern Country but ignores so much pain and suffering that goes on there.

Shame on my Country, the USA, that allowed Corporations to ship jobs there and props up such abuses after the US worker had for years gained better wages and safety standards.

North Korea has the highest percentage of slaves per capita. Little can be done there they are so isolated but in other Countries pressure should be maintained. Horrible that this still goes on with all the technology we do have and places to report such things.

It doesn't seem we're living in the XXI century, which was supposed to be able to have societies more respectful to the human rights, to elect MAN and all other living beings as the focus of everything and work together for the general well-being. Unfortunately it seems quite the opposite - looking back into history we come up to realize we've only evolved technogically and neglect everything else: respect, security, freedom, basic needs... GOD, it looks like we're living in a perfect hell.

It seems to be man's inner weakness, to use and abuse their brother. That's all man's learned, since the world began. I too admire Russell Crowe, who simplifies things in order to reach everyone---with just how sadly inane these evil acts are and just how simply a new mindset and force of habit could be altered. Thanks Rose.
