This is the most ridiculous article I have read. It makes out that greyhounds are the spawns of the Devil, when in actual fact they are very gentle dogs, it is humans who make them do this, all for MONEY! The poor hare is terrifed, and poor dogs will get either killed or shipped to Spain when not 'needed', so YES it is a VERY CRUEL 'event'!!

Greys are used and abused by EVIL, GREEDY humans; it makes me SICK. They think these wonderful, sweet, smart, gentle dogs are nothing but profit and then trash...the so called humans can GO TO HELL as far as I am concerned.

After Friday's event it was announced that next weekend organizers will participate in another event. Only this time it will be they forced to run while being chased by the killer rabbit who previously starred in Monty Python's Holy Grail. The rabbit will not be muzzled.

yes Carla, tormenting animals is big business - horse racing, circuses, dogfighting, puppy mills, hunting, fur, meat..... there's a lot of money to be made so a lot of people with no compassion are only too eager to sit around thinking of ways to torment other creatures and too many people willing to pay them.

I think they should put whoever sponsors these things on a race track and see how he likes being chased by a few trained human sprint runners that have bats.
