Ken, this is sad and should never have happened. My heart goes out to the families of those who have lost a a loved one or have an injured one.

i always wonder why people blame anyone other than the operator. clearly, he is the only one in control of his mind and body. when you have an important job, you can never be off guard.

How aweful! But what about the school bus driver? Aren't bus drivers supposed to stop to make sure there's not a train coming? Even I was taught to look both ways before crossing railroad tracts. Sounds like there are 2 guilty guys. And many dead kids. SAD

Very sadly noted. I agree with Richelle, there's more than one person to blame here. Thanks Ken

Whoa. One person's irresponsible actions responsible for the deaths of so many. Horrible. Poor children and poor parents.

This is tragic news indeed. Sadly, the Egyptian railway system does not have a very good safety record.
