It is outrageous that the E.P.A. is putting a vital species, the livelihoods of farmers and beekeepers, and our very food supply at risk just so Bayer can peddle its pesticide.

Robert, It is outrageous that such a Petition is for US Citizens only, too

Signed and noted. Included this comment: " We need the bees to pollinate our food supply, as well as every living plant outdoors. We do not need the poisons that kill."

We've reached 157% (196,262) of our 4th NEW goal of 125,000 signers! Tell your friends:

I was delighted when C2 had the bee donation for one of the ways we could donate our butterflies. So I hear you on that one Robert. I also tend to give the loans to the women for cottage industry, as when the women do better in a community so too does the whole community.

Bees are crucial in our food system, without bees the variety of foods would decrease immensely, so to me it is urgent that the bees be protected. As with so much that is happening on this planet, that fact, is another one of the inconvenient truths that those making money off of destruction doesn't want to think about, it stands in the way of their profits.

The awareness of bees is something I've brought up from time to time on C2 so I'm delighted you have this petition on here. It's unfortunate that we must sign such petitions for if this world was being run by those with sound thinking, we'd not have to be to this point. Step by step, by all the people around the world we will need to claw back to a way of life that is sustainable and free from all of these chemicals. There are natural ways to take care of all conditions with the growing of our foods, we don't need all these chemicals that are hurting the entire eco systems.

In honor of this story, I just gave some more bees via the butterfly rewards on C2.

Thank you, just signed! The EPA needs to take immediate action not just on this pesticide, but many others, too, that are causing the huge bee decline.

"This is a global problem. We must protect the honeybees." Kerry H
Agreed, on both counts, especially in the protection of the honey bee, since we, humans, have caused the problem; therefore, the fate of the honey bee is our responsibility.

But, this is a world wide problem with our honey bee's.
I want to start honey bee farming...can anyone help. In the country and have land to do so?
I'm just not wanting my nasty neighbors to get stung.

@Kit B - I understand your desire to get this important petition in front of the right people with a hefty signature base, but if you're signing multiple times, as you have asserted here, you could get the whole thing thrown out. NEVER sign the same petition more than once. Political petitions, for example, could be completely tossed if there is a belief that people have signed multiple times, or signed under false names.

Do the right thing for the right reason in the right way.
Blessings,
Jennifer
