One crucial way to reverse President Obama's preemptive caving is to get Democrats on the record saying they simply won't vote for a deal with these cuts.

Don't hold your breath waiting for Obama to grown a spine and not cave! He may or may not stand his ground now, but, if he gets re-elected, then what? He would have nothing to lose! This is what happens when we vote party - AND the parties count on this loyalty! DON'T GIVE IT TO THEM - VOTE INDEPENDENT AND/OR THE RIGHT PEOPLE NOT THE PARTY PEOPLE!

SS and medicare can both be saved with minor tweaks and taxing the obscenely wealthy and cutting some of the military wasteful spending. Wealth care, NO! People care, YES

OBAMA 2012, or we can go back to economic collapse with the GOP (Greedy One Percenters)!

Thanks! Your signature has been submitted. We've reached 51% (25,568) of our NEW goal of 50,000 signers! Help us get there by telling your friends:

This should be a no brainer for the Democrats. As I said in my comment on the petiton. Remember the New Deal? I do, and so do millions of voters.

I like Maggie, am disgusted by BOTH Parties that have sold us down the river. Before they start hitting the poor any more, why don't some of the rich start coughing up a few tax dollars? Why are not some Bankers and Wall Street types behind bars? Why isn't the Glass Steagall reinstated? Bunch of crooks the majority of them.

NO cuts to Social Security. Remember, Social Security is NOT part of the USA budget.

No cuts to Medicare at all.

Ty, Robert.

There are enough other places to cut--especially in the Defense budget--that this should not need to even be on the table for discussion.
