he said he would eliminate ObamaCare, the Affordable Care Act upheld by the U.S. Supreme Court two weeks ago. The audience responded with thundering boos.

"I believe that if you understood who I truly am in my heart, and if it were possible to fully communicate what I believe is in the real, enduring best interest of African-American families, you would vote for me for president," he said. And then he also told them about the Tooth Fairy and the Easter Bunny and how they would help him take care of everybody....

Kit: The point I think Romney was making was Obama promised job growth in the urban cities -this never happened.Minorities actually fared the worst in this Presidency.
The fact that he was listened to, and occasionally applauded should give Obama pause. Romney was not as off target as you may think. It's the old Reagan campaign slogan:"Are you better off than you were four years ago?"

Now that all of the voter disenfranchisement laws are getting struck down, Romney figures that he actually needs to talk to minorities.

Romney had an incredible set of cojones, or a frontal lobotomy, to make that speech!

WIlliam? Is this the update? the anti- voting laws are being struck down? I hadn't heard.. is why I am asking.. Are we winning that war?
My opinion is Mitt is doing theater. he has already told us his plans.
Yes this community of NAACP will be polite and respectful. I don't know what they will do or how the voting will go with all the republican obstacle course and rigging of the votes and cheating schemeing and threatenings. A lot of stuff is going on. It is and enlightening education to see the elephant in the room at work.
It use to be done in the dark.. Now it's blatant and in the open with an I don't care attitude. And all the lying is unreal and out of this world. I don't know how they can keep lying and get caught and keep doing it.
I cannot stomach them.
Look at the lot of them; birds of a feather flock together.thx for the article.

In my opinion, his main purpose for being there was to evoke a response that he can use to stir up the racists to whom he panders.
