I forgot to tell you, I have just pored away 10 large bottles of so called Lemonade and pop that were bought by me for over the Christmas, for each bottle was sweetened with Aspartame. I then sent an E-Mail to the company Lowes Soft Drinks, based here in Cardiff, asking them why are they trying to poison us with this dreadful stuff.
I also sent an E-Mail to our Health Minister asking why is this being aloud.
I am waiting for the reply.

I'm diabetic, and love my soda, so I drink diet pepsi. I'm at the point that most all of our foods have things in them that should be, so, I will enjoy what I do.

And observation: Americans are bombarded with information daily, and they become numb to it all. Then you have groups like republicans who put out false or misleading data, and it makes it worse. I thought people were so stupid by not seeing the truth here (especially the elections); but it's so confusing and overwhelming, they shut down to it all. Just look how the religious right can't see past their own nose.

If anyone is that concerned about hfcs- high fructose corn syrup and also concerned about artificial sweeteners- such as aspartame- THEN WHY on earth are you buying soda? DRINK WATER! And purify it yourself with a brita filter (or other brand).

While I do believe that the government is "owned" by big business I truly believe that they are answering consumers demands without longterm thought of the consequences. People want lots of flavor but no calories are saccharin, cyclamates, Aspartame, and now sucralose are invented. We make sure they are not immediately toxic but noone studies the long term effects. Same with any number of medicines. Nobody makes you take them, it is your choice.

What is the advantage to society to make everyone that dumb? Why would a CEO or prime minister or president think that is a good thing. It costs more overall as people have more health problems, fewer people get a good college education, and people are not able to handle jobs.

Nick, you gotta be kidding, there is not a dimes worth of difference between America's two major parties. Religious right is nothing but a label. All this right/left stuff does nothing but drive the wedge deeper.

Nick is right about the disinformation being mostly on the 'Right'. However the 'Right' is not the source of the propaganda as many believe, but rather a product of it. The vast majority of quality propaganda comes from Capitalism and their 'Right' leaning partners. Fear and disinformation is about all that's left of the Conservative platform.

The Left is different. I don't agree with the established parties, but I do understand who is behind them and why. The 'Left' for the most part is 'the' "vigilant public" that we were told Democracy requires. The 'Left' is Democracy, the 'Right' is it's opposition. Do you fear "Government control"?

My interest in politics came after a six year free range education in Psychology for my own purpose and agenda. I stumbled into propaganda and explored it for about a year before politics became an interest. I followed the language of manipulation into politics and could see through all the B.S. well before I knew the difference between 'Right' and 'Left'. The Propaganda worked well when TV was high tech, but those days are over. The 'Right' is on the verge of collapse because, like fear, the power of propaganda crumbles in the light of information.

To answer the question posed. "Why is Society Being Dumbed Down?" Because without sheep the shepherds are out of a job.

As to the question; "What is the advantage to society to make everyone that dumb?" - slaves that cannot question authority.

As to the question about Democrat or Republican - they are both compromised and prop each other up.

Have you ever had restaurant MSG poisoning? I have. I have had headaches from concussions. This felt very much like the same kind of pressure, pain and hallucinations. Not something I would wish on anyone else.

Nick, lose the diet soda habit if you can. I understand the limits diabetes places on you. It would be much better for you to drink water with some natural lemon flavor or perhaps green tea.

Dr. Russel Blaylock's newsletter requires a paid subscription. This is disappointing since so many could benefit from his newsletter.

Great video that puts together a lot of the ''Mental Toxins''. As a senior citizen, we did not have this information available for general public 40 years ago. So even though a lot of body and brainwahing events are happening -- it is beginning to be counterbalanced by more truthful information. Being a little enlightened, I will not get a vaccine unless it is for a disease that really KILLS people or causes permanent disablement. Wondering if the annual FLU shots are designed to dumb down seniors who were not vaccinated in the last 20 years??

There are metal detoxin chelators on the market but you need studies to show that that product is really effective. The vitamin SamE is an example. EDTA compound in chelation IVs and some pills helps metal detoxing. The saddest part though is that in children the damage is much worse and probably not as reversible.

Why are people being dumbed down? - So the few who are making the money can get it more easily- lower costs of production and advertising + more consumer demand = bigger profits
If people are taught critical thinking, and aren't drugged by their diets and 'necessary' medications they might just wake up and see this whole thing is going to (or is in the process of) falling down because eventually people are going to run out of the money to buy more and more stuff they don't really need or buy more and more services they could actually perform for themselves. Then the only resort for the guys on top to have everything under their control and be able to do whatever they want will be force. The ordinary person doesn't respond well to force after a while, so dumbing down is the only way for them to get what they want.

A nateral sweetener that can be bought and taken safely is Stevia> this is a sweet Leafe. That is turned into a powder or The juice is extracted for drops which are sold in any health food store.
I like a fizzy water and have desieded to get myself a Soda Syphon like I had in the old days.
