One hour Audio interview. The Kings of Great nations were once also the High Priests. There is a collusion between religion and politics. People's attitudes change slowly and governments and cabal take advantage of this. Very informative

Great video, the only word to the caution I had in this video was when he made the statement that science was predominately the seekers of truth, that statement is only half true, the politicians and powers that be have used science to make false claims about truth so one must also see who has the interest in certain information being researched and why it is being told, if the scientists work for the government one must be very wary about the information they give out.

Blessings

Thank you for this information Gregory! Very interesting and thought provoking!

Always thought that religions were used as powerful levers for political dominance.

(Some of the most interesting & logical books I have ever read of the origins of the Christian religion specifically were written by Dr. Barbara Thiering of the University of Australia. Her books are based on information researched from the Dead Sea Scrolls.

She found a cipher in the Dead Sea Scrolls which, when applied to the New Testament and the Book of Revelations, reveal a hidden history of the people and the political turmoil at the time of Jesus as well as many events in Jesus' personal life. Her explanations clarify some bewildering writings, such as are found especially in the Book of Revelations. Absolutely fascinating reading! The cipher was used for the benefit of the 'scholars' and to preserve and hide the history of the time from the Romans.)

Rarely have I heard anyone mention her and again I wonder if her books also are those that the Church would rather not have people read.

This interview was made before 2000 as Steve Allen died in Oct. 2000.
How did you find this Gregory? Very interesting. Thanks for info.

Honestly I don't get this. I am a member of "the church" (I know what you mean - a nod is as good as a wink...To a blind bat!) and so far as I know, the only books they (we) don't want people to read are pornography...Not that they intend censorship, but because porn is degrading to women. The Pope and the Bishops (particularly the American Bishops) urge the faithful, and all people for that matter, to read diverse books and engage in a conscious debate about them. The old days of knee jerk reactions and lock step morality are gone, now only the Fundamentalists engage in that sort of mind control. Thomas Merton once said all things and all ideas come from God and are inherently good, just as man is. Read on and discuss away! Oh, and the church in the person of Pope John Paul II has apologized for past indiscretions and admits that mingling religion and politics in the past was not a good idea and will not be revisited. People diverse the dignity of democratic institutions. Of course, like Merton and others, I've always been a non-conformist. :)

Oh, and those who don't wish to participate in the whole god-thing, well that's OK too. The Buddhists have shown that social morality does not need to be deity centered.

I know why I do not belong to any religion. I once was a christian. But then I found out about the truth for which purpose this rekigion once has been created, and how and why the church killed up to 200 million people for to protect the lies that had been created to manipulate people. When you confront christians with these facts and the reality they tell you that you are with satan and that the bible is God's word. They put the mark of being evil on you that prevents them from any dicussion, researching and reasoning. This religion is a very effective brainwash that grants the Vatican an income of billions, and power over people who are not supposed to think and ask.
