The smoking of tobacco with dangerous chemicals in them (blended) is deplorable. i smoked for 30 years and was finally able to stop after frirst switching to the additive, organic types. It felt like i was not smoking at first , because it is the chemicals and additives that we were addicting to. My reccomendation to anyone whren they have the will to choose to not smoke is to try this method, and of course candy or any other "things" you may think help you. thx Gregory

A Few days ago I watched this video and deleted it in disgust.For I am a confirmed believer in smocking, especially after smoking for 60 years. However yesterday I had delight in welcoming an old Dear friend to my door well over the age of 87 years of age. He had traveled all the way from Cardiff to Abergwynfi by train and Taxi. Not knowing which stop to get of he whent past the station, and had to travel back. Still he was glowing in health no matter the stress of his situation. The first thing I noticed was his skin. Not one wrinkle could I see. He was realy looking healthy. Not yellow like this video says he should look. Come to think about it neither is my skin yellow.As we sat facing each other at the table drinking are first cup of tea after 15 years science we last meet we had much catching up to do. So there was lots to remember. In fact forty odd years of history, and yes he rolled up his cigarette, His golden Vagina, I with,Amber Leaf.We enjoyed the time time of remembering and contemplation.He had brought with him a lovely bottle of Chardonnay, and a half bottle of a delicious liquor, which tasted like nectar.I Asked him how long he had smocked? His answer was 72 years.Well I thought I was good at smocking for 60 years. Starting at 7 when I stole a leaf of my Fathers tobacco that turned me green.Did smock a much ed milder cigarette after that that smelt nice and tasted nice, not today's cigarettes that poison you but lovely herbs from the ground.This kind of smoke had a lovely smell! A lovely taste! It was not washed with toxins! it was rolled in plant paper that was made from the Hemp plant.All Cigars are raped in there own sticky leaf to burn purely to give a slow satisfying calming to the mind and body. To have any true creativity one has to be able to calm the mind and go in search of the creator God who lives within the body as well as out of the body. In twelve hours you are expected to work and create in harmony with all that is around you.The other twelve hours is for rest and contemplation on what you have created during the day. This then should be your approach when you need to gather Gods creative side. Always let it be for the benefit of all that live on the planet.If you wish to stay in harmony with your environment you must keep the inside like the outside.This is for the scientist of the world.We do not live in a world that is pure, and clean. We live among many life forms that all have to be balanced and in harmony, There are worlds within worlds. The more you look the more you will find out.I will tell you truth only. Do not interfere with what God has created. He creates everything perfect. If mankind tries to interfere he will bring disease and destruction to all. This plant and all herbs have been created by are Father to benefit all. Not just mankind, you are only one species amongst many. You can not breath in and live for long takeing in purified Air, or what you call Oxygen. You live long and healthy life by breathing in, all kinds of gasses, and different Aromas, from the Flowers, Shrubs,and Trees,of the various gasses, and all gasses the that come from rotting vegetation. Each for help for one thing or another. All are important for keeping the life forms healthy and well.
The Earth is full of energy a burning mass at the core which has to let off steam which contains smoke and gasses Fire is energy there is no energy without fire all fire emits smoke. VIBRATION OF MATTER. This is what you are, all made of matter which vibrates. This is held together by all the substances that attract one to another.

If they say ,oh! you must always take them.Do not! For it means it is not there intention to ever cure you.Look for the cure in the Herbs you are animals and all you need to get rid of your pain is in a natural growing Herb.

This time I am going to disagree with you.

Smoke (any kind of) destroys cilia in your lungs and they are replaced by goblet cells. Cilia move mucus from your lungs. Less cilia, less movement.

Goblet cells produce mucus. More mucus producing cells means more mucus with less cilia to move it.

Very typical for smokers to have a morning cough since it takes nearly eight hours for the cilia that have been paralyzed to become reactivated. This is common in smokers of other things also.

Your lungs are very susceptible to damage and you should guard them with your life and every breath.

If the story you tell is true then you are the exception. A rare specimen you and your friend must be.

Yes, I saw a few like you in my 20 years as a Respiratory Therapist. But, it does not last and you are forced to slow down as a result of this behavior. You age prematurely and that is just the way it is.

My grandfather's cause of death was from years of farming..no air conditioned enclosed cab tractor's for his generation.All the fine shaft as he combined was what ruined his lungs...no chemicals there.My husband cancer death was from the chemicals uncle sam dumped in Nam.Do I smoke ..I sure do..will I quit..yes when I want. I do not smoke around others that don't but I just consider that respect.Native Americans had their tobacco, and I can go out in the hills and find the same to smoke which is a natural choice.As long as nothing has been sprayed in the fields. I truly understand others not wanting to be around smoke..however if I had a tavern( which I don't) and I paid the taxes,etc and chose to have it open to smokers than I feel that is my right..and those that didn't agree are free to establishments that are smoke free...for right now it's still legal and with all the toxic waste, fuels it wasn't cigarett smoke that has those frogs growing three legs..or the increase in cancers overseas with the DU we dumpedthat will sooner or later filter in the air above all of us..It's a stress reliever for me..I've given up enough and I'm old enough to make my own choices.and will respect others in theirs.

Everyone is entitled to their own personal opinion and health habits, but I have two observations on the subject of smoking; - Smokers should be aware of the potential dangers they, personally, are courting -- and most importantly - Smokers should not endanger the lives of others as the result of second hand smoke. I know of families in which both parents smoke in the presence of their children - not cool and totally irresponsible in view of what is now known.

If anyone in the world, would ever declare war upon the tobacco industry, it would be our good old friend England!!! Tobacco, and hemp, funded the American revolution, and made America sovereign!!!

Thank you, Gregory. I don't think it is wise to underestimate the dangers of smoking. It is an extremely toxic habit. In Australia alone, more than 140,000 hospital visits and 19,000 deaths can be attributed to cigarette smoking. The main causes are cancer, heart and chroninc pulmonary disease, not to mention the cost to the taxpayer, the danger of passive smoking and the inordinate amount of damaging litter from discarded cigarette butts.

My sister smokes, not natural tobacco but the manufactured cigarettes laced with thousands of chemicals, and she wakes up each morning with a hacking cough that shakes her body to its very core. Please don't glorify smoking.

Smoking is a filthy dirty habit. When i am eating I do not want to smell cigarette smoke. I will not be around smokers..they stink! It is proven that it destroys the lungs it KILLS oxygen.. and any smoker i have ever come across always has plenty of wrinkles especially around the mouth. I prefer clean air..anyway as clean as possible. There are enough pollutants without cigarette smoke...and do you see how these people who smoke dump there ashes and ciggy butts (dog-ends) into the street?? UGH... I would never rent a house to a smoker. YUCK

Smokers seem to be the only people on the face of the planet who don't know what ashtrays are supposed to be used for. Even if they are made available, they are largley ignored. Smokers don't seem to care about the damage to the environment caused by these non-biodegradable pollutants which end up on our streets and waterways to the detriment of birds and other small animals who unwittlingly eat them and ingest the chemicals,causing injury and death. Absolutely sickening.

I find the terminology and comments about "ragging" women very inappropriate and offensive. Women have no choice in menstruating; smokers have a choice when it comes to smoking.

Aside from that, my comments were not directed at you personally. I was talking about the majority of smokers I see every day carelessly discarding cigarette butts. You should be applauded for using ashtrays and picking up your butts but you are very much in the minority.

All joking aside..my mother smoked her whole life, and when she was pregnant. The windows were always closed, and eventually she developed emphysema. I in turn inherited weak lungs and have to be very careful around cigarette smokers . I can hardly breathe around it.

The clean air act, it what gave our corporate government our permission to pollute the air, by allowing so many parts per billion, of toxic substances in our air, and then they go and put them there!!! Keep on thinking it through C.D. Simon is the owner of the media, so that would be Banks and Corporations. The information about health issues associated with cigarettes was surpressed for so many years in the USA. Eventually, cigarette commercials were taken off television because the public demanded that children not be exposed to that brainwashing. Anyone who was ever in the military got very cheap cigarettes...I remember $2 a carton....so, our own government is complicite. Anyone remember Jesse Helms in Congress??!!! Big Tobacco's best friend in Congress and he stayed on as a Congressman taking care of the interests of Big Tobacco, long after senility. Hollywood had a lot to do with drawing people into the smoking habit long ago. Then the media said Don't Smoke, it's HAZARDOUS to your Health...people in the USA quit smoking, so, Big Tobacco Exported the addiction to other countries where governments had no opinion about smoking. If you lost market share in one area (USA), you spread out to new areas and cultivated those new market areas, like many European countries, Japan and China into tobacco customers...that's how BIG TOBACCO operates. That is how I understand it...

I have been trying to legalize Marijuana/ Hemp, since 1975, when I learned that George Washington, grew it at the white house, and that his very first law was that is was to be legal forever, I smoked my first dubie that day after school, because I wanted to know why it was illegal, and I have been hated and persecuted every since because of a plant!!!
I have noticed that the louder the marijuana movement has become, that the louder the anti-smoking campaign gets!!! Looking back in history, I noticed that the Hemp plant/ Marijuana, was outlawed, the same year that prohibition of alcohol ended!!! No coincidence--- the gangsters needed to put something on the black market to replace alcohol, in order to keep their statice quo, their wealth and their power!!!
Marijuana, is about to become legal, so our gangster government needs something else on the black market to replace it!!! So guess what, nicotine, is the victim, this time, but the Pepsi generation is in the loading dock, when the war against caffeine commences!!!
Nicotine, and caffeine are both highly addictive substances, when compressed, AND FEED INTO YOUR BLOOD STREAM FOR GENERATIONS!!! addiction, is the 7th generation, of any substance!!!

Why do smokers fail to grasp the truth about smoking and its toxic, destructive effect upon their health and that of the rest of us nonsmokers; especially those suffering from respiratory diseases (asthma, bronchitis, etc) or are otherwise allergic to the poisonous fumes from their crummy addiction-as explained so well by Gregory S. (Kudos Gregory) :)

BTW: For some strange reason that defies logic, a lot of smokers have acquired the notion that their cigarette/cigar smoking is guaranteed by the US Constitution. I've run into such people who got squirrelly after being asked to not smoke in the eating establishments or movie theatres, and would scream about their "rights" being violated, or having read in the various OP Ed sections of different newspapers of the comments of smokers defending such a "Constitutional guaranteed right" Just as with the gun rights groups, there are no protections in place for either tobacco smoking or owning guns.

There is no constitutional rights for smokers, or gun owners, because there is no constitution!!! Segregation was found to be illegal, but I guess that only applies to certain factions, but not to all Americans!!! America has become the united states of hypocrisy, double standards and lies!!! A free nation, that is unarmed is no longer free!!!
The constitution guarantees, life liberty, and the pursuit of happiness!!! The fruition of every life is death, and if I don't have a right to choose my own death, than I don't have a right to live my own life!!!

Alexander the great, once stated: "DIVIDE AND CONQUER", and he went on to conquer the known world, Do we actually think, that the tyrants of the world, would not adhere to these proven words of conquest??? Where do all of these divisionary lobbyist groups come from anyway??? Who funds these hate groups??? Who benefits from this division??? From this diversion??? I believe that the divisonaries, are the true terrorists, that they are trying to divide these once United States, to create a one world government!!! They are funded by alCIAda, to conquer from within!!!

I started smoking when I was 15, about the time I started experimenting with drugs and alcohol. I smoked for 34 years. I was addicted to the menthol as much as I was to the nicotine. I swore, for me to quit, I'd need it all (hypnosis, acupuncture, wellbutrin, patch, pill, gum). Then, the time came. The store kept not stocking the cheap generic brand I smoked causing me to switch and find another cheap generic brand. About this same time, the state of Ohio decided to start adding more taxes to the cigarettes. I'd had it, I was fed up. The store had 2 cartons left of the current brand I was smoking so I bought them. At the end of 2 weeks (that's how long they would last) I was quitting. I would smoke my last cigarette while reading my book in bed. My nightly habit. The next morning, I'd apply the patch.

For the two weeks prior, I kept repeating to myself "I am a non-smoker" over and over, even as I was lighting up. The day of the last pack arrived and I still hadn't bought the patches. I went to the drug store for the patches, walking between the patches and the counter where they sold the cigarettes. It took a long time to actually say "f*** it" and buy the patches. These were the heavy duty high dose patches for long time heavy smokers. I wore one 24 hours a day at first, moving them to different parts of my upper arm on a daily basis. They didn't stick very well, so I tapped them on with paper tape so I wouldn't break out from the tape too. After about 4 days of really vivid dreams I had to start removing the patch at night. Another 10 days and I needed to buy more patches. I wore one out of the new box and gave the rest to my girlfriend who also wanted to stop. I told her the best thing I did was to repeat, ad nauseam, "I am a non smoker" for the two weeks before quitting. I swear, that more than anything got me to quit as easily as I did. But, it still wasn't easy. there was a lot of deep breathing, grapes, peanut M & M's and bitchiness. Some of my family (never smokers) wanted me to smoke. I didn't and I never will again. Most people think I'm crazy when I tell them to wrap their brain around quitting the way I did or some other way that works for them. They aren't ready to quit. You really do have to be ready.

Interestingly, I do occasionally smoke in dreams, though.
