If this is such a good bill why have 4 states filed suit against the federal government to block its enactment? Thousands of children will lose their health care under this bill in each of these states at the expense of extending coverage to children whose parents can afford their own coverage. This bill is nothing but a political toy for the democrats to try to make Bush look even worse than he is.

One More Vote to Override SCHIP VetoPublic pressure continues to build on House members that voted against expanding the State Children's Health Insurance Program. Today, Tulsa World reports that conservative "Bush Dog" Democrat Rep. Dan Boren (Okla.) will drop his opposition and support an override of Bush's veto.Boren said, "I don't want to be the one to stop this program from going forward." Who else doesn't want to be the one?
