Hoarder is being evicted in a few days.250 Dogs need out ASAP. Please forward to all no-kill rescues & media. Great dogs but a huge project and very little time! If taken to the pound, most if not all will be euthanized! See comment for ChipIn, pics links

A Facebook friend wrote an article about this... it's finally getting media coverage though we need more:

http://www.examiner.com/examiner/x-40189-LA-Dog-Rescue-Examiner~y2010m5d13-Breaking-news-Race-against-clock-to-save-over-100-animals-found-at-hoarders-property-in-Palmdale

Please read the article as it describes more about their horrible living conditions.

Thanks everyone for noting and spreading the word... these dogs need all the help they can get! :(

it is sad, but it appears that they have been fed, and the guy seems to not abuse them as far as beating on them, but 100 aniamls is alot to support!!!!!!and you can't give them all the personal attention with that amount!!!!!!

..in my experience people who hoard animals to this extent tend to be suffering from mental health problems.I don't know enough about this guy to say too much about him..so wouldn't want to jump to conclusions except to say that he seems to beleive he was acting benignly and does not seem to have been malicious at all.Good luck to the animals and the man..perhaps the authorities have something to answer for mind..as they could have acted sooner to help the animals.

If I lived in California, I'd gladly show up with my pickup and horse trailer. I pray you are able to rescue all the animals before animal control arrives.

There should be NO reason for Animal Control to kill these dogs when there are willing Rescues Orgs to take them. Oreo's Law is modeled on a California statute. We need the media, TV crews, in their faces on the scene. Please help and start calling local TV news station and send them to the hoarder scene: 5651 East Avenue T, Palmdale CA 93552. The most important thing we need right now is donations. All the dogs are going to a boarding facility $ all need medical care, spay/neuter, vaccines, baths, microchipping, etc. This is going to cost a lot of money so please consider chipping in... even if you can afford just a couple of dollars, every little bit helps.

Thanks so much everyone.

Right now they are in the process of transferring the dogs from Palmdale to Top Dog boarding facility in San Fernando. They will be needing people to help transport some of these dogs later today from Top Dog to Irvine, Las Vegas, Mission Viejo & Glendale. We really need crates too. If you can help, please call any of these #s: 310-869-3680 or 818-427-8812 or post here on this thread.

Please pray they'll all be safe... also, there may be a THIRD property with more dogs being hoarded!! I'll keep you posted. Thanks!!

I would gladly help transport if I were near. I hate AC, they have no compassion and they will never give the dogs a chance at rehoming. These animals appeared well cared for except for being non-neutered/spayed. I figure the guy has a big heart and just takes in what is dumped off like trash. It doesn't take long to get over-whelmed when you do things like that. I pray all find safety and please keep us updated if at all possible. TY, Nadia
