Phobia - indicating a person that fears or hates

So yes, it is a choice, we can make the choice to fear irrationally or to accept others.

Gay marriage: Legislation passes U.K. Commons despite Tory opposition

MPs have approved legislation for same-sex marriage in England and Wales, despite the opposition of dozens of Conservative MPs.

The Commons voted in favour of the The Marriage (Same Sex Couples) Bill, by 400 to 175, a majority of 225, at the end of a full day's debate on the bill.

Thanks for posting. Yes, homophobia is a choice but one that unfortunately is taught. Hard for some to unlearn it, I guess.

Macklemore 's piece was quite wonderful.He mentions the Hip Hop world and their acceptance- they too are coning around. One day, Queen Latifah will formally come out and just level the playing field.

Macklemore did a song about shopping at the Goodwill.
I think that fur coat came from the Goodwill.
He made Goodwill shopping very popular among teens and pre-teens!

Good for the Ecology. And to get kids off of the "materialism" kick.

This I read about in the Alternative Newspaper, Real Change, which is sold by homeless people on the streets of Seattle. That was the first time I had heard about the guy!
