he Buffett Rule made sense when President Obama first proposed it -- after all, no millionaire should get to pay a lower tax rate than a middle class family.

I led the fight for the Buffett Rule in the House and now I've taken our fight to the Senate because in order for everyone to have a fair shot we need to make sure everyone pays their fair share. We need a balanced approach of smart spending cuts and tax fairness to prevent the drastic impact of sequestration.

Letís put new energy into our effort to pass the Buffett Rule: Click here to add your support today!

Under any circumstances, we should be getting rid of loopholes that allow the wealthiest Americans to avoid paying their fair share.

We need to continue moving our economy forward but sequestration could be do real harm to our economic recovery. We need to find a balanced approach to our fiscal problems. And including the Buffett Rule in our plan will bring us one step closer.

This is an important moment, and we need to take advantage of it while we can. Renew your support for the Buffett rule -- sign on to show your support right now.

Our fight for fairness has only just begun. Thank you for joining me in reiterating your support for the Buffett Rule.

Tammy

I'm not going to berate the five points I have been posting about for two years now again. Until those are reintroduced and completed Buffett's Rule won't mean much.

Noted. Signed. The only people against making a fair system of taxation to ensure that all Americans no matter how wealthy pay their fair share...are, in fact, the wealthy elites who profit from making all of the rest of us pay and pay and pay so that that they can play.

This is a good start. What can we do about basically U.S. Corporations who hold their $$$ offshore (like in the Caymen Islands or Ireland) and don't pay any corporate taxes? Many of these receive tax money as incentives.
Thanks.

The Buffett Rule is a good start but unless you change the system's structure all the loopholes they have for moving around cash will not net the results you and others are expecting. Good luck.

The Buffett Rule is a good start, but there needs to be comprehensive reform that includes loopholes used by the 1% and corporations. Let's face it, corporations and the 1% had help building their businesses, despite what Rmoney would have people believe.

Yes, Tammy! Adorable, smart and from Wisconsin. Thank goodness she got to leave the state and get away from being smashed from Scott Walker. She was standing on the Lawn in front of the courthouse holding the RECALL WALKER signs in Jan of 2011... and when she won the Senate Seat out from that miserable POS Tommy Thompson... she was pretty much threatened with everything but the kitched sink. YOU GO GIRL! she is amazing, beautiful, smart and well loved... WALKER,RYAN,JOHNSON... is holding Wisconsin hostage under and killing the earth and seriously killing the people, first nations, the tribes and all the animals... its really pathetic
