The Goliaths of the tech industry already destroyed SOPA--now they're attempting to take down privacy laws in Europe.

Absolutely NFW. Go after the pedophiles; the cyber crooks moving money; terrorists; or the real scam artists - the Banksters and hedge fund managers. Let's not forget the commodity traders either.

There you have it again- US playing the exclusiveness role- they need to STOP thinking they are the greatest and so superior that they can regulate other countries and continents. Their tech industry is not hurting and certainly will not be so either from rules and regulations that Europeans wish! and if so- so what, they're still big enough.
I am sort of sick of these monopoly attitudes.

This will stay in my focus! We voted ACTA down, we will not cease to fight against this kind of evil nonsense!

This is I guess just the modernized version of what Ma Bell and the post office have been doing for years. They sell your personal information to marketing firms and receive a finder's fee. Canada Post actullay receives a fee for every piece of junk mail that shows up in your mailbox. Where did you think all that junk mail came from?
