It's here. Sequestration-- across-the-board cuts to discretionary spending-- go into effect

Yeah, I am guessing that the geniuses in Washington are figuring out more ways to lower taxes on the rich and then also to take from the middle class and give more to the rich. They aren't rich enough yet.

We have some that whether right or left, our elected officials are standing obstinately unmovable. These members of Congress - both Houses, believe their re-election is based on this issue alone. I do believer that even for the most radical left or right, the real issue is jobs, better pay, a sense a family security, good education for their children and feelings of national security (forgetting that defense means little if the economy tanks - again). People do not understand the word Sequestration, they don't understand the concept, they just know that "something" vague as that may be, is being done to "FIX" the budget. What that means, thanks in no small part to all media latching on to an easily and readily available set of talking points, people are left partly in the dark, mostly believing nonsense and distracting language, in a miasma of rhetorical Bull Hockey. Neither the republicans alone nor Obama alone conceived this stupid plan, but both are playing to their audience. People's only source of income will come under gun very shortly. We the American people are perfectly willing to wait and see if any of us are personally affected. If not - then who cares? "let them eat cake"

No matter what, this is not going to have a happy ending and a lot of people are going to be adversely affected.

Thanks. Pretty soon there will only be the very rich and the poor. Depressing.
