We need real solutions for our broken immigration system. Undocumented immigrants are living in the shadows, law-abiding employers are out-competed by those who are willing to pay below minimum wage, families and communities are being torn apart by indiscriminate arrests, workers aren't getting fair treatment, and the federal government keeps throwing billions of dollars at ineffective enforcement policies. Tell Congress to support immigration reform that addresses the problems of our current system.

Congress could and should fix the problem we need a better more patriotic Congress to be able to even start to address the issue Congress relaxed laws and allowed it to happen now they all need to be deported back to where they came from If they can give something to this country they need to go! we aren't responsible for them in any way and to give our country''s money to those who are rightfully due it

It's all just theater at this point, really. Congress only listens to their corporate masters.

Its the same here They never find half of the illegal immigrants Maybe Australia used to have a good system where they had an armistice each time the government changed and they could all come forward without fear of arrest dont know if they still do it though

we tried the free pass once before it got us this mess. we need to seal the boarders, keep track of people here on temp visas and deport any who stay over. we need to give major fines to companies that hire illegals and fine anybody that rents/and or sells cars, housing to them. anybody that takes them in should be fined and have to pay for all their care, food, schooling and medical. children of illegals shouldn't be given citizenship. that will stop the anchor babies. it's time to crack down and stop the flood. tax payers are getting tired of supporting people who don't follow our laws from day one but expect to be given all the rights of citizenship.

The costs of what you want are higher than what you object to Billie--be a fiscal conservative who saves us all money by supporting the path to citizenship.

Everything has a simple solution, outlaw thr Rerpublicn and Tea Parties and the recovery will be swift and sane.

Sadly that will never happen.

The immmigration problem would have a solution by first taking Obama out of the proposed solution.

Sent gladly. We need to get some workable and working solutions to welcome immigrants to this country, as our founders did two hundred years ago (and even at the beginning of the 20th century, when my great-grandparents arrived).

jla we tried that path once before and all it did was make millions more come. until we stop the flood and enforce our laws they will keep coming until we are no more. make their home country pay for them. they allowed them to sneak in here. we can re-coup that money by stopping all aide to any country that has illegals here. once we we take away all the free money you can bet those countries will take their little sneaks back.
just announce no more aide until all their citizens that are here illegally are back home. that's billions in our pockets

Billie, the data says the net level of immigration is less than zero now--the border is closed and your concern no longer exists and therefore does not relate to the current issue and circumstances.

You are welcome Joy.

All of us are descendants from people who came to this country legally or illegally at some point in time. We should reform our laws to reflect modern circumstances and offer the opportunity of citizenship to people who wish to come to our great nation.

Congress could fix a lot of things if they would
cease their petty obstructionist tactics.

And it shouldn't take 20 years for someone complying with all the rules to finish the naturalization and/or citizenship process.
