Lovely article, great example of women power! thx JL -wish Palestinian women would get together and sing to shame those who occupy and suppress them, rather than the young males throwing stones or men choosing rockets.

Well non violent civil disobedience has a long history, but very, very few men have ever considered it, they'd much rather play with spears, arrows or guns, badly. Christ, Ghandi, Dr. King and I'm hard pressed to think of more, but this has forever been the province of women, it has had to be with the male of the species larger, stronger, more violent and infinitely less wise. These women exemplify courage, determination and the ability to see the larger picture that men so easily ignore. I hope whatever they have is catching, the world could use more of it, quite a lot more.
