The words FISA and court when used together - FISA Court are an oxymoron.

I think most American who are not professional politicians are extremely distressed about this, we have yet to come to full appreciation of just what this means.

Foreign
Intelligence
Surveillance
Act
This court was established to protect the rights of citizens from government intrusion. They have instead become part of the intelligence community.
The President did indeed receive the dreaded "Pants on Fire" rating from poltifact.
I am opposed to gathering data from American citizens under color of a law that was attempting to stifle acts of espionage from foreign nationals.

It is sad but true that pretty much any regulation has been bastardized by politicians and special interests to limit our rights to privacy and equal protection under the law. Proof that President Obama has also been bought by corporate lobbyist. The irony is that the government contracts with corporations like Halliburton to so call "protect Americans against terrorism" then the government independent of Halliburton spy on Americans too. Essentially taxpayers pay for the same service twice. Once by paying the contractor to do what the government is already doing independently. If Obama denies anything we can rest assured it is live and well. Thanks JL Noted.

Of course politicians lie to us. We're a pain in their back side. If we'd just get out of the way they could indulge themselves in all manner of feasting and torture and other karma making factors.

I love the saying, all it takes for evil to succeed is for good people to do nothing.

Well, we're doing something!
