Our forests have a purpose. Stop cutting them down for fuel. They are also homes to birds and wildlife.

We could replace pulp and paper with hemp. It is high yield; requires no pesticides or fertilizers and very low water consumption. Hemp paper could replace pulp, paper and cardboard that are made from trees. Think of the reduced packaging using plastic or Styrofoam.

Hemp please and don't spare the horses in getting it started. America and Canada import hemp products from abroad. These are jobs that could go to North Americans. The only thing that is holding us back is the politicians who don't wish to offend their bosses overseas who make the hemp products.
