Love your cartoon.

Hate that the fate of so many innocent children is in the hands of SCOTUS now–but hope compassion and morality win the day.

The one thing I am proudest of Di Fi for–so sad those who claim to be for law and order are not screaming the house down (the one in Congress is not deserving a capital from me just now).

Yes–Bernie does speak truth even when it might be viewed as supporting an opponent.

Speed of wheelchair use should improve with practice.

Daily Kos - Not only did Bernie speak the truth, but he made me so proud to be a Democrat. As he did in the clip from the first debate when he told the media to quit it with the damn emails. To paraphrase an old bad joke, the only thing two Republicans can agree on is how awful a third candidate is. Bernie shows the way campaigns should be run - with respect despite differences.

During the period, relatively brief though it was, Bernie and Hillary were in the Senate together, they voted the same way 93% of the time. That has to say something.

NY Times - Yeah. The elephant in the room is an elephant. Surprise, surprise. JL, yu and all other Californians have the right to take pride in DiFi for her action here.

WaPo - Yes, it may be a mistake. But he is somewhat between a rock and a hard place on it. If he doesn't push for it, that's not good either. Sad all the way around. I wish it luck. It will need it.

Cartoon - LOL! Well, wheelchairs do at least turn on a dime. At least mine does. Don't give up.

DK: I love Bernie more and more with what he says. He speaks the truth, and wants what's best for our Nation.

NYTimes: Glad she wrote the letter, the repug monkeys are riding the Elephant. Kudos to Ms. Feinstein for raising concerns.

Cartoon: Cute, TC !

I hope that your pain is reduced in the next few days. In the meantime, obey all traffic signals, and maintain a slow speed going around corners. Pretty soon, you'll be a pro. Take care, and Thanks, Tom.

Be careful, you might catch one of those nurses and end up married again!

Daily Kos: I agree with Bernie and you. The worst Democrat will always be better than the best Republican as things stand now.

NY Times: This is a disgrace. Is the Justice Department still owned by Bush, Cheney, and their ilk. Just like spring cleaning, you need to get rid of the dust and unnecessary items. It is past time for that group to be investigated. The Justice Dept. is effectively tying the hands of Congress with these actions.

Cartoon: If you find the naughty nurse, you won't have to get married. :-)

Washington Post: The present SCOTUS will never let this be law, they are too invested in the Republican party, or the party of despair, to do it.

By the sound of it you're getting enough exercise despite the pain you're still in, TomCat ;-) By the time you're fast enough to catch a nurse, they're going to transfer you to another hospital. It's all part of your fitness test.

Daily Kos: Bernie Sanders now feels the effects of the enormous leg-up Hillary Clinton's been given by the GOP with their inane Benghazi hearing, but is not giving in just yet. Perhaps he's continuing as strong as ever more in the hope he can push her even further to the left on that all important item: the exorbitant wealth difference and on the way the country is ruled from Wall Street, than in the expectation to regain what he's lost through that hearing. And of course any Democrat will be a better candidate than any in the Clown's Car.

NY Times: One can safely assume that this 6,700-page classified report on the C.I.A.’s secret prison program has cost the taxpayer a tidy sum, running in the millions, and now the results are officially off-limits to the people who ordered Senator Dianne Feinstein to investigate it? No-one can read it? And the C.I.A. especially doesn't want to read it because they know they can learn from it? You are quite right, TomCat, America has no moral authority as a nation if they don't deal with the war crimes that were perpetrated in the past. And by the looks of it, it's not going to deal with any war crimes perpetrated right now and is in fact sanctioning those of the future. Forget about authority, start by finding a moral.

Washington Post: It's highly unlikely that the Terrible Five are going to rule in favor anything Obama has put forward, but I would expect them to make it easy on themselves and put Obama out of other options by refusing to take it on this spring. If they take it on at all, it'll be by the end of Obama's last term. And because they will take it on, but far too late, Obama has deprived himself of any other option. Which will leave up to 5 million immigrants in the lurch.

Cartoon: I see you're increasing the possibility of catching a nurse, TomCat, by going after the right one straight away,

Another take on immigration – this was in the email from The Nation for 11/11:

http://www.thenation.com/article/why-immigration-activists-are-celebrating-their-loss-in-federal-court/

which suggests to me that Obama was responding to this pressure – and had little other choice.

If you click through (and I hope you will), be sure to catch every quote from the dissent by Judge Carolyn Dineen King. Some will undoubtedly be used by the Administration in its SCOTUS brief.

"Raiders of the Lost Ark"; yes, very frustrating ending when they put the Ark into a warehouse, never to be seen or heard from again. Love the cartoon. Thanks for the post, TomCat, and thanks for posting, JL.
