Military dogs are often our troops' first line of defense, sniffing out hidden bombs in some of the most dangerous places on earth. This story captures the loyalty and trust that develop between a dog and her handler and the deep, loving bond they share.

Very sweet--these amazing pooches should never be left behind like the majority. Thanks

it is a shame the way some are cast off after the tour of duty is done - shame on the military for that

Noted, tweeted, and shared. Too bad that we aren't as loyal as the dogs are.

Noted and shared. These tireless souls have given their lives in service to their country. Sad that there is no 'hero's welcome' or services for PTSD for them. HUGS TO ALL FROM TEXAS
