"The Warren County Sheriff's Office says John T. O'Neil III, of Diamond Point, ripped the clothes off his five-month-old son during an argument with his girlfriend. EMS took the boy to Glens Falls Hospital for treatment.

O'Neil has been charged with assault. He was released and is set to appear in court later this month.

There is no word on the condition of the baby."

I would think they could get Him on no bond since He tore the clothes off of the baby, should be a different charge, or an additional one, eh?...thank you Dalia and Dee!

The way the media labelled the incident as a domestic dispute annoys me. It is domestic violence. By using a gentler term like 'dispute' the incident is trivialised and made to appear less severe than it was.

I am so against violence, my son & I are victims/survivors of domestic violence.
Reading this made me SICK.
This poor speciman of a "man" needs to be castrated.How dare he!!
I bet he is not bold enough to stand up to someone his size. He needs to be locked up forever.

& I agree that minimizing this horrific act as a 'domestic dispute' is a civil right offense. IT IS DISGUSTING crime.

The call was to answer a domestic dispute..I agree it was much more than that..and I hope he will be charged with child abuse and endangerment as well..
