This seems to be an alarming trend all over. In the UK it's often put down to the stress of having so many pressures from Government to produce food on the one hand to Supermarkets depressing the farmgate price of everything but of course making huge profits from the farmers labours themselves. What with bankruptcy rules and regulations it is not a profession I would choose to follow! Be a lawyer my son, no real work, loads of money get paid for telling lies and defending the indefensible and you can also be a President or Prime Minister!

Tis so sad that our farmers have resroted to this through stress... governemnt needs to rethink and relook into the agricultural policies
