God: "So Jesus, whadaya think about this statue?"

Jesus: "It's OK. They meant well, ya know."

God: "Mind if I use it for target practice?"

LOL

It would seem that Jesus was not happy with it; perhaps the location?

OR...perhaps it's just an erection of fiberglass and wood and has no meaning whatsoever to anyone or anything other than a Christian?

if your a true christian you do not need a six story tall jesus to look at......he is in your heart ....not made of material things...i think the whole thing is a waste of money.....it should be used to help the needy in the community....

Excellent point. I've wondered about the obscene wealth of the Catholic churches, Mormon cathedrals, etc. After all, didn't Jesus say that, if you wanted to follow him, you should give away all your possessions and wealth?

"Thou shall have no craven images before me." Maybe He was trying to tell them something....

OR...maybe there IS no god and this is just a simple case of lightning strike or some other incident which burns a structure with no more meaning than a silo or a gas station.
