Young women tricked into coming to England, often by boyfriends, are being sold off in auctions at airport coffee shops as soon as they arrive.

Oh, England, the U.K. , the country that introduced "opium" to the Orient ...

yes, we all know how "moral" the Brits are ...

didn't they invade Iraw ... way back when ...

before Queen Elizabeth's "distant cousin" George Bu$h did it again?

They also conceived of the concentration camp and used it the first time in Africa, against the Boers, in the late 1800s. They also conceived of the concept of segregation, which the Afrikaaners later formally named (apartheid) as a social reality.

But not all the British are like those in the article or those who incarcerated civilians and kept themselves apart from other people. Thankfully, not all of them were ever that way.

Slightly interesting, weather it's England, the U.K., or the Orient; there have been girls and young women who have been tricked into going there not realizing the opportunity that is being offered to them is not what they think. They are led there under false pretences, only to be turned into prostetutes once arrived. After that, they don't have a chance to go home due to the insuficiant funds that they can never have enough of due to it being taken from them. They also never have a chance on the street because they are only allowed out for their tricks; otherwise they are kept locked up.

UK, once a great imperialist country in the world and made other nations people as its slaves and exploited the nations for many centuries. And now, it is its turn, at least in the name of sex, its own nations young and beautiful women have become slaves. Now, new legislations should be brought out and strictly implemented to stop this immediately with out any reason. The criminals who forced them in sex slavery should be hanged!! And the women should be compensated with honor and dignity by providing them good employment and social secure. Let civilization dawn on them.

Well, in the article it appears that immigrating women seem to be the largest targets still, not women already living in Britian who grew up there.

But to me, it doesn't matter where a woman comes from, no one should be living that way. As long as there are some people who think that it's acceptable to be able to buy "anything" or sell "anything," this sort of thing will go on. And as long as this goes on, other forms of captivity will, too, sadly.

The sales of these young women are taking place mostly at the airports coffee shops. I thought England was keen on having cameras and surveillance every where, which means they have these evil pimps and could arrest them on the spot if they so desired. So why don't they? How corrupt is their police force? The penalty should be death, not jail time. Make the cost of doing business so high it discourages human trafficking. Publish their names and photographs. The police only manage to get around to ten percent of the brothels. This type of crime should be the highest priority.

It seems to me that this is allowed to go on because the US, British, and other governments sanction this obscene crime. Many secret and not so secret government and quasi-government organizations provide call girls, and under-age young boys and girls for the pleasure of their perverted members. By the way, Blue Bunting, you are absolutely right, Bu$h is related to The Queen, going all the way back to 'Longshanks'. And there is more......but that is off the subject, sorry.

According to the UN, New York Times, Amnesty International and others, "It's estimated that 27 million people are in slavery around the world". That includes sex trafficking.

There is a campaign to end such atrocities going on right now. The campaign put forth a petition that will be submitted to the UN as well as the US and UK governments to force them to address such issues. I got in touch with the campaign (Amazing Change) and asked them how I could help. To tap into the amazing resource that Care2 and the Petitionsite provide, I am now collecting signatures on their behalf and will submit the signatures collected to the Amazing Change in April. Care2 is a great network and the more people that we get to sign this petition, the more visible it will be on the Care2 network. So pelase sign this petition and pass on the word to your friends:
