Together with a number of research assistants, the Danish linguist Tina Magaard spent three years examining the texts of the 10 largest religions. The purpose was to investigate whether any of the religions incite violence.

The conclusion was clear: “The texts of Islam is clearly distinct from the other religions texts as it to a higher degree call for violence and aggression against followers of other faiths. There are also direct incitement to terror. … Moreover, in the Qur’an hundreds of invitations to fight against people of other faiths.”

The verses are in black and white and without mitigating context. One of the verses that deal with non-Muslims is: “So when you meet those who disbelieve, strike their necks until you have inflicted slaughter upon them.” (Qur’an, 47: 4).

Violent in practice
Islam is not only the world’s most violent religion in writing. A huge study, based on in-depth interviews with 45,000 subjects confirms that it is also the world’s most violent religion in practice.

The study shows that Islam is the only religion in the world where people become more violent, the stronger they believe in their religion.

The fact that Islam is the world’s most violent religion is most likely the reason why Muslims since September 11, 2001, has committed more than 27,000 deadly terrorist attacks in the name of Islam. This corresponds to approximately 2000 a year or five a day.

Another fact is that the number of Muslims in the Western world is increasing dramatically and that they are becoming still more religious: 75 percent of Muslims inside Europe think that the texts of the world’s most violent religion must be taken literal.

This is probably why 80 percent of young Turks in Holland see “nothing wrong” in waging Jihad against non-Muslims. And that 27 percent of all young French and 14 percent of all young British under 25 sympathize with the genocidal terror organisation Islamic State. This includes most probably the vast majority of young Muslims in these two countries.

Europe is about to face its greatest challenge ever.

They're just figuring this out NOW?

Well it's good to see someone acknowledge it officially.

"The conclusion was clear: “The texts of Islam is clearly distinct from the other religions texts as it to a higher degree call for violence and aggression against followers of other faiths. "

I wonder how much that cost ?
When all they had to do was ask me -- the money saved could have gone towards inviting more miscreants to share in the Goody Bag called the west

Shil...I had the same thought! Hope they didn't spend a ton of money on this study!

We have known this for a long long time, they had to do research to figure this out?

Researchers can prove just about anything they want. Look at what the Whites did when they first came to the New World. Remember Wounded Knee? You can pick and choose all you want from the Quran, the Bible, etc. If you read it, you can see that there was a lot of violence in the Old Testament.

There are extremists in all religions. How do you explain bombings of abortion clinics? Or, even shooting the practitioners at such clinics? Violence is all around us and it is not all being performed by Muslims

The United States and its allies will do nothing to thwart terrorism if they continue to pursue the War on Terror.

Donna we are discussing today not hundreds of years ago
No one is saying all ALL violence is performed by Muslims
We can not compare bombing of 1 abortion clinic with hacking peoples heads off and stoning women to death or chopping hands off for stealing and thats not the terrorists haha
Look at Islam objectively and tell us what you find

Get a grip people.....Race or religion there is good and bad people in them all.Not all christians qualify for sainthood agreed? Not all muslims are jihadists either....good thing too at 1.6 billion we "christian' folk are out numbered by about 500 million world wide.Be much less trouble if western nations did not spend so much time, money and effort starting wars, legal or otherwise, promoting regime changes, installing puppet governments dropping bombs and firing missiles from drones now in these Muslim countries. This last whether we are supposed to be there or not!!! As well as plain meddling with their politics/economies.Time to mind our own business and mend fences as best as can be done after the damage done in their home lands. We in the west will reap what is sown there and that is violence and hatred and yes all involved should be scared.Face it, like it or not,the terrorists were/are financed, trained as well as armed by the west in one way or the other

Christians did some pretty violent things in the past too but most Christians got civilized However, I guess there are Christians or Jews could read the Old Testament and start stoning people to death for adultery and other stupid things from two, three or four thousand years ago. Someday I hope we get rid of all religion and realize that love and compassion are the only things we need to live our lives in a peaceful society.

This type of finger pointing has no constructive value.. It does nothing to promote understanding or bring people together. It is very useful to promote war dance propaganda, foment ill will, foster fear and hatred. Strikes all the wrong chords, nice try.

I agree once more with Marco.
"This type of finger pointing has no constructive value.."
And I prefer care2 to bring people together...

Paul Christensen makes some very good points about reaping what we sow. We have acted horribly on the world stage, and for far too long.
Finger pointing, I agree, is of no use, unless we point it at ourselves, and learn from our mistakes. We have to recognize that we have become master imperialists, and master imperialists make many enemies!
