Ohioans for Humane Farms have a petition they need OH residents to sign! Terrible things are happening and legislators are not concerned. Ohio has some of the weakest animal-welfare laws in the country! Please sign OH residents, and forward!

Need Help With Farm Animal Welfare Reforms in Ohio!!

HSUS is requesting the signature of Ohio residents! Ohio has some of the weakest animal-welfare laws in the U.S. and horrible things are happening while legislators are shutting the door to concern. Please click link and look for Endorse This Campaign. Also see Facebook page here to join! http://www.ohiohumane.com/ -- and please forward to anyone you know in Ohio.

For Ohioans AND all others: please reach out to Governor Ted Strickland at link: http://www.governor.ohio.gov/Default.aspx?tabid=150 to let him know that Ohio’s lack of regard for animals is unacceptable… The country is waiting for their changes…

Thank you, Care2 friends! -SOO

Noted, I'm glad more people are speaking up, other beings should not have to live lives of slavery and captivity for human "convenience." It's immoral and disgusting.

Farms are very useful things and without them we wouldn't have milk, cheese, eggs, crops or meat! But alot of farms (like factory farms) treat the animals very inhumanely and do things like cut the tails of the pigs off, so they don't eat eachothers off , probably from lack of food, or just because they are aggressive because of being cooped up and treated so awfully!
I personally am not vegetarian even though i absolutely adore animals,
Because a carrot is alive, and we eat and kill them too,
so if I never ate anything that was once alive, i'd never eat anything, if you see what i mean.
BUT i'm TOTALLY against how they treat animals on certain farms.
