The Rendlesham Forest Incident

Summary: Something strange and unusual did happen on the nights 26-29 December 1980 in Tangham Woods, a part of the Rendlesham Forest near Woodbridge, Suffolk, England. Rendlesham Forest case is undoubtedly one of the best documented and most significant military encounters with a UFO. It is also very credible incident.

Considering the vast range of experimental aircarft being drawn up by inventors on all side of the conflict some of them making it into prototype production any admission that sightings of these prototypes had happened would not have had a good effect on morale The wartime leaders of both the UK and Us also had an obsession with secrecy and intelligence. Just imagine the panic at the comic book materialisation of aliens being endorsed by government. It is quite likely that Hitler's boffins exploited this irrational fear and deliberately built bizarre shaped aircraft using such technology as was available then certainly the publish material from that period which is available today envisions technology such as stealth fighters and weirdly shaped aircraft that we are getting quite used today so why not round craft with flashing lights etc It's got to be better than Martians having intense conversations with petrol pumps!

I guess they would also have not been too keen on the public or the enemy knowing that aircrew were given "Uppers" to allow them to perform beyond their physical tiredness limits. At the time none of the side effects of such drugs were known enough about so seeing alien craft was not something likely to be shouted about however real the manifestation may have seemed at the time!
