Still covered in their baby fluff and balancing on legs that seem too long for their bodies, these young cubs look to be a long way from joining the ranks of adult cheetahs.

A mom who trains her young well. Love the observation stories about our wildlife animals..especially those that focus on the young of their species and the bonds between each other etc.

Enjoyable read and the pictures that came with it...TY

How adorable! For anyone who likes to watch Cheetahs and other wild cats, check out Big Cat Diary's! You can watch the seasons on Netflix. I believe they have 7 out right now. A group of people fallow lions, cheetahs and leopards in the Masai Mara. It's such a wonderful show! Thank you!

OH So Gorgeous.!!! My FAV Animals are Kittehs; ANY kind of Kittehs!!!

Poor Cheetahs, they get Picked on by Lions, Leopards & Hyenas!!!
They don't have strong Jaws, or Strong Bodies, they only have their speed,
which they use to run away!!!

Their Cubs have a high Mortality Rate, thanks to the Above Animals I mentioned,
so she will be one Very Lucky & Exceptional Mother, if she can keep all 5 alive,
to reach adulthood & Independence, at around 2 yrs of age.!!!

Having said that, I will be Cheering for her that she does have 100 % success.!!!
THANX NANCY for Posting this story.

I have noted & will be sharing on F.B. & with all my Friends on CARE2, of course !!!

OMG !!! I have just read the whole story & Drooled over even more pics of the Family,
& discovered that she has 6 young Cubs, not 5!!! WOW!!!

She must be a VERY Protective Mother, to get that size a litter this far; the story
said they are about 3 mths old.
They are most vulnerable in the first 6 wks of their life.!

Cheetahs are my favorite animal. Thank you so much for the lovely story. The mom having 4 cubs is a lot for a litter. I hope they all survive.
