Native Green continues to grow
Launches new green products site and green job creation program

MISSION, S.D. – Native Green, a certified Native American owned company, recently launched GONATIVEGREEN.com. The Web site makes it easy to find and purchase the right green cleaning products to meet the emerging green building standards and green purchasing policies.

The efficient direct purchasing model significantly reduces the cost to “go green” while improving global and personal environments. Now, leaders in schools and universities, or purchasing managers supporting government or business can meet their needs for quality green products while supporting efforts for supplier diversity, more cost effectively than ever before.

“President Barack Obama and his team are swiftly moving towards green job creation, and, as a former chairman of the Rosebud Sioux Tribe, I understand the challenges in positively impacting our environment while creating jobs and careers for Native Americans and the citizens of our country,” said Charlie Colombe, chairman and CEO of Native Green.

The company’s suite of green products range from effective earth friendly cleaning and maintenance products that improve the atmosphere in buildings, schools and health care facilities to trash can liners made from at least 50 percent post consumer recycled plastic, along with earth friendly mops, micro-fiber towels and energy saving compact fluorescent lighting solutions.

All of Native Greens cleaning solutions are available in concentrated formulas with unique, highly efficient packaging, reducing transportation costs and landfill waste. The packaging of the concentrated cleaners allow Native Green spray bottles to be safely reused over and over; by reusing a spray bottle 29 times, a gallon of crude oil is saved.

“As a mom, nothing was more important to me than the safety of children in the classroom and the long term quality of their health at home,” said Linda Carrillo, co-founder of Native Green. “To help mothers make the right choices for their children we knew our products had to be cost effective, environmentally intelligent and just plain work.”

In conjunction with this announcement, Native Green is launching a green sales mentoring program to increase its Native American workforce.

I also got to say I am very impressed with the tribes following in their ancient ways still today. With wind power etc., It really is uplifting that our miserable government has not taken away their basic beliefs as living with the earth. They have tried so hard to suppress them and yet they still have managed to pull through and survive. It gives me hope that one day we will actually win in all this mess!
