Ah yes, back when it had value. You could exchange a dollar bill for a silver dollar. Now it costs over 20 if you're lucky!

Some of these designs are so wonderful! I especially like the Native American chief, and the Greek-like setting with all the women. I wish I could have seen the dates, because I love antiques also. Would have been nice to match them with events. Thanks for site, Djole.

Symbolism is amazing. Many women with at least one breast exposed, and wings everywhere. But some weird stuff too. A man looks like he is begging and another where many men are watching one man smoke a very long pipe. I saved to my computer and tried to zoom in to get a better look. Couldn't read the fine print though. Interesting that they had George and Martha both on the one too. Going to see if I can find information on the symbolism.
