Please Sign: Tell Obama and Congress to End Support of Company Selling Attack Helicopters to Syria

Sec. Clinton is accusing a Russian company, Rosoboronexport, of selling attack copters to Syria, but she does not address concerns about US DOD buying its copters from that same company. US should stop supporting those who support Syrian atrocities.

Noted and signed. Thanks Susan. The US needs to stop selling arms to other countries and then saying it doesn't matter when those countries sell those same weapons to our enemies. Time to stop the madness! If we want to sell arms to the Syrians, then we should be selling them directly, not arguing about where our weapons are going after we sell them to someone else.

Charles, I take your comments seriously and am looking at your links. If you are right I'll shut this petition down. I just need to be sure. Thank you.

Does this have anything to do with your issues?

This is an act of treason! Anyone selling to the Middle Eastern countries should be arrested!

I have amended this petition to include information from the story linked below, and I thank you all for signing and Charles for the information. Though I can't confirm, yet, what the truth is, I think it's important that we look at the possibility of what is reported in Glaser's article and others available on I am very dedicated to not supporting any war propaganda efforts. I do think it important that we not jump on Russia as long as we are buying weapons from the same company, and that the US needs to be upfront about - and stop sending mixed messages on - this issue.
US citizens have been misled into supporting wars throughout our history, and it's definitely beyond time to put an end to this.

For those who want more info on this issue - I believe there is some sound advice (whoever is responsible for the slaughters) in this video (from Glass) on Democracy Now (about 15 minutes):

As I wrote to President Obama, We Must Work Toward Peace, not support and foster conflict. Establishing a Dept of Peace wthin the President's Cabinet is another important step. Congressman Dennis Kucinich has made great strides with this project.
