I don't see why they are STILL practicing this! They can't eat the meat, so why do it? Just because of "tradition"? I know, let's make a new tradition! Leave all the cetaceans alone and have a beach party to celebrate life!

Historically the islands needed the whales for heat, light, and food sources. Now it's only sport. The heat and light are provided by modern means and the islanders, some of which still like the taste of their ancestors whale meat recipes, for the most part don't eat the animals except on special occasions. Vote NO!

Make the Faroe Islanders find another sport.
