Just four wastewater wells in Oklahoma - where energy companies dump water after completing the hydraulic fracturing process - have caused scores of earthquakes this year, some 30 km from the site, according to a new study by top US universities.

Noted. Thanks, Ray. So, their reaction to the study is "At best these incorrect assumptions are irresponsible." It's just a simple denial; nowhere do they address anything specific with alternative facts. So, if a truly big earthquake hits the area and destroys billions of dollars worth of their equipment, am I to assume they are insured to the max and will recoup their investments? Very troubling to me.

After all of the information gathered since 'fracking' was initiated, one _may_ think that some rational thinking was in order.
Apparently, this is not the case. The monetary contributions to our legislators is too high for morals to have any significance.
