It is sad - peer pressure do you think? Didn't want to be seen in the old one??? Teens are a very vunerable time for all - the children - the parents - the teachers. Very sad!!!!

I'm unclear on this story. Did she do this herself? Did her sibling? DId her classmates?

All that matters in the end is it was another young and innocent life wasted. The truest tragedy this world suffers.

There seems to be an extreme amount of pressure on teens nowadays. Very sad indeed.
This must devastate her family and community.

I believe it was a suicide. These children feel pressured to live up to a certain materialistic standards, it's how they guage their worth.

How sad.... My thoughts and prayers go out to this girl's family and friends.... How tragic it is that our children are raised in a society where greed prevaills! It is hard to teach them the respect of life itself in this dysfunctional corrupt society.

seems like there is something missing from this story. i find it hard to believe that this young woman chose to end her life over a school uniform. there had to be more than that going on. tragic.

not sure what led up to this. but i feel for her family. to either take her life or have it taken is so sad. it seems her parents were trying to do all they could. i at one time did work security. it does not pay that well at least not when i was in security work. her family has my prayers.

Oh dear how terribly sad, the poor child must have been in turmoil to take such a decision over such a materialistic situation, but it definitely was more than just getting a new uniform...more like she was being bullied because of her old one. Oh I hate this constant materialistic world, our children are really suffering. Poor parents they must be devastated to lose their child, and full of remorse over not being able to provide this uniform earlier...but would it have solved the problem even if they did. Self confidence which this girl was probably lacking may have made her do it later on down the road. My thoughts and prayers goes to the family...alas no conciliation really.
