Thanks,guys!This news is so cool! Parrots are great! I had one,when I was a kid,and he was so funny!His name was "Pancho",coz he was wild,and brave!He used to go cycling with me,all over town....LoL....Also sang funny songs,and Tango,he had a very "unique" language,when he said "Children" in Spanish,which would be "Nenes" he would say "nenos"....He drank coffee,from a spoon....Pancho is a part of my sweetest childhood memories...Thanks to all who have read,fw and wrote comments! Blessings to all of you!Parrots ROCK!This is why,I dedicate this News article to my beloved "Pancho"

Wow! Monica this is such a cute little story. We congratulate Willie the parrot for winning the local Red Cross chapter's Animal Lifesaver Award in Denver, Colorado. He certainly deserves a heroes award in being able to save a child from choking to death. Nice to know about Pancho as well. He appears to be such a lovable bird. Thanks Monica for sharing with us the beautiful story of Willie and Pancho as well. Noted!

I have a Pionus Parrot that looks very similar to Willie. They are the neatest little characters you ever want to meet! But, then again, that's what I say about ALL of my birds (and cats). :-)
