Finally, 110 federally "owned" chimpanzees, currently locked in a laboratory, will have their day in the sun as the National Institutes of Health (NIH) has just announced that it will be permanently retiring them from experiments. DANCE BABY DANCE

It's great news, but where exactly are the retired chimps being sent to?
I did signed the article linked petition of the Great Ape Protection and Cost Savings Act.

I just get over how sweet that little chimp is in the picture !!! I gladly signed , but didn't see where the freed chimps were going to be relocated. Hoepfully it's a place with trees and a place they can live again.
Thank Kelly

Thank you Lord - may the rest of their days be spent in absolute peace and serenity - they have been through so much horror that I pray God wipes it from their minds. It is absolutely wicked and inhumane to use animals to experiment with so that we humans can benefit - we are so not worth it.
