Are you aware that your taxes are being used to pay 75 government staff to snare and kill badgers in Ireland?

Hi Kelly, A petition already exists. It was set up by the IWT. We are running a campaign against the Irish Badger Cull and we currently have over 8,000 signatures. We feel that splitting up the support between two petitions weakens the cause. It would probably be in the Badgers best interests if we all got behind the existing petition. Please sign the petition and follow the IWT on Facebook for updates on our campaign.

Signed and noted with disgust - I will never forget what they did to Lennox, they are a cruel, vicious and sadistic lot of sub humans, same as you get in any other country and in my own opinion should be shot into oblivion!

For those who believe in God does it not seem hypocritical to kill the beings that he put on the planet? Mind you i am knot Catholic or Christian or any religion that believes in God-I am an atheist- but are people not supposed to appreciate what God supposedly gave to them? What makes them think that this alleged God would want people to take control and just kill any species they deemed in the way or fun to kill or whatever reason is convenient? we are not the most intelligent but possible the most self and self centered species on Earth.

Bad enough the U.K. and now we have Ireland? The Bovine TB is probably being spread via mega-herds and export and import of the cattle. How cruel to the badgers, who have co-existed with cattle for centuries!

S&N I do hope the Irish have more sense than the British and will listen to counter arguments.
