For Labor Day, my partner and I decided to take our dogs out of New York City to enjoy a long weekend upstate. We have cottages we love to stay in with a door that opens onto a yard, Photo: Boxer in red car by Shutterstock

Since the P'OS tend to leave a "crack" in the window I am from now on carrying a full sports bottle of wtr JUST FOR THEM. As, I am giving it to them I will call 911. If I am able to stay I will stay until someone gets there. I will also get the license plate and report them to the ASPCA( I believe)

..I'll probably do something not "ethical" or "legal" like breaking a window......animals dehydrate much faster than us.....

I'd smash the window 1st and take the poor dog out and then dial the police. The dogs life is more important than worrying about the law. Thanks
