I was going to post this, but found Kelly's link and decided to give it a shot in the dark. I hope you don't mind, Kelly, that I post this here as I have on Facebook. But I admit, I'm becoming very discouraged in our fight for the wolves. However, I did easily set up and account on CNN and have commented on all the stories regarding wolves.

You have to register and it will come to your email for you to confirm. Then click on PUT THIS ON TV! --- And leave a comment, I did. We're losing this battle folks...why? Because we're tired? At least we're not dead like most of the wolves...I'm exceptionally exhausted. So rather than start a new C2NN story, I've hijacked Kelly's post and I hope some of people will voice their opinions and hopes. We will never stop fighting for everything we believe in, but we sure can get tired and have a temporary "why try anymore" attitude. Most of us get over it quickly though. Even though CNN is main stream media, why not TRY? We can reach hundreds or thousands...they can reach millions!

The Survival of Our American Grey Wolf And Why it Matters

Some of these sites also encouraged followers to hit wolves with their vehicles, and posted a picture of a wolf who had been run over by an SUV. This also was shared widely. Another popular, widely shared meme states “Shoot, Shovel and Shut Up”, which refers to killing wolves and then not letting the bodies be found so that they will not be counted in the state quotas. The stated intent was to kill them all. “Kill em all” memes were also a popular share. This occurs in public forums with an implied understanding that even if laws were broken they would not be enforced.

Idaho County Sheriff’s Department 308 SSS Wolf Pack

SSS is an expression which refers to “Shoot, Shovel and Shut Up”, or kill as many wolves as possible to get them off of the land, and don’t report it. Illegally killing wildlife with the intent to kill them all, until they are extinct, would be poaching.

A Tribute To Beautiful Blondie

Jim Brandenburg was a National Geographic environmental photographer for over 30 years, and a photojournalist for 10 years. A beloved subject of his was Blondie, a research collared grey wolf of Minnesota, killed in November of 2012. This is a common tragedy to wildlife lovers, environmentalists and research biologists who have come to love these wolves only to see them poached through unreported kills (Shoot Shovel and Shut Up) and otherwise killed in extremely brutal manners.

The leaches in the bottom of the pit, wolf killers and fur sellers are making billions of dollars sending all kinds of animal parts across overseas. This is big money to them and most of the time they do not have to claim taxes on it. HUGE PROFITS for very little investment. We are hurting their free ride. So the more these poachers and snipers can intimidate us with bully, mean, crude, rotten, evil, images and blood and gore. This keeps them happy and keeps us away and they get richer and they also laugh all the way to the bank. SADISTS, and I personally deal with these bottom suckers every day.

Thank you so much for sharing this. The people who take so much joy in the death of these amazing animals do not deserve to live in society with the rest of us. They should be shamed, and jailed, called out for the bullying, cowardly, murderous monsters they are. And shame on Facebook for promoting this kind of barbarism. Their policies make it difficult for activists and yet time and time again they promote animal haters and monsters.

Forget putting them somewhere. Those committing such grotesque acts of violence should be shot. As Bill Maher said-put Dick Cheney out there (if you haven;t seen his Ted Cruz hunting thing it is worth watching). Is it any wonder i feel sny wonder I get depressed and find it hard to reconcile being part of this oh so violent human species? I know there are many out there/here who are not like that but it seems we do not have the power of these putzes and we are outnumbered.

Wolves are what keep the whole ecosystem healthy! They feed on the ones that are not healthy enough to survive. They cull the ones that shouldn't be allowed to breed.
The Sheriff's Office needs to be brought to answer for their horrible actions! They act like the wolves are criminals! Shoot, shovel and shut up. Now ain't that a way for a law enforcement office to act?? Like if you kill someone who "may" have done something wrong will save them the paperwork!
How insane!! The Feds should be prosecuting them for dereliction of duties!! Flat Unfrigginbelievable!! They need to be reamed out for their policies and procedures!
Thank you, Lynn for forwarding Kelly's story to me!
I got signed in, and shared every way and every story to everyone I know! And will share again ASAP!
THANK YOU!
