Noted, ty. I don't agree with some of the comments on here though. Animal abusers abuse and kill animals, and then we want them killed for killing??? No. Jail without parole? Yes! It's not about revenge, it's about justice. As for the poor victims, rest in peace. A very sad state of affairs.

But these dogs were not euthanized-they were killed. They were not in pain or suffering which is what euthanization is for. These were healthy dogs going to homes-They were murdered plain and simple. Stop the whitewashing and tell what is happening without the euphemisms. These fools (now there is a euphemism) should pay dearly for what they have done.

aww...we know he wouldn't be killed, but sometimes ya just gotta let the anger out! If we don't have dark humor over the acts of cruelty.........a person could burnout from all the stories of human monsters.
I don't rank high on the compassion scale for dubious "fellow" human beings. Draw and quarter the creeps. Ouch..he he he

Thank God he was found out. His assistant as well. Hopefully they will go to jail and then maybe the refuge will not longer be high-kill. To kill animals assigned for adoption and kind, gentle animals, has absolutely no reasonable answer. Then on top of that, the unmercinary way they were killed!!! Do it to the two of them.

I'm afraid there are a lot of animal shelters in which this same tragic scenario is happening. I was hired for my first shelter job about 20 years ago. I was excited, thinking I was going to help animals. I was told the shelter was no-kill, which it wasn't, and cats were always killed by heartstick. You could hear them screaming from the other end of the building when this was done. The director killed animals at his whim. The sheriff's department wouldn't do anything about the cruelty, because the shelter was both "county humane society" and "animal services", operated by the sheriff's dept! The other employees hated me because I cared and didn't laugh at the abuse. I stayed for as long as I could to try to help the animals. I fostered several cats to save them from heartstick. A day doesn't go by that I don't think about things that happened there, and how they killed one particular kitten that I wanted to foster, for no reason, other than to upset me. She was the sweetest kitten in the world, a DLH orange female. I get upset to this day by what the director and staff did, and how cruel they were. I later worked at another shelter in another state, which was even worse. I was fired after less than a month for trying to get help for the suffering animals. (I lived on the property and apparently the shelter manager listened to my phone calls).

These charges should not be misdemeanors. They definitely should be felonies, and these two idiots should go to jail for a good long time, then be permanently banned from having ANYTHING to do with animals, ever. So sad!

No telling how many shelters do things like that and get by with it.

I also think the charges should be felonies. There is too much cruelty in some so called shelters. Noted and shared on facebook.

Euthanized him like he did his prey. We need stronger animal abuse laws.

If they don't start putting stronger laws, then cruelty like this will continue!
