The fans of today's wild horses are petitioning the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service to list the animals as an endangered species because open rangeland is reduced and also less fit to graze.

These beautiful horses must be protected. It's heartbreaking seeing the huge roundups even worse is knowing their fate as the majority are sent to auction+off to slaughter they go. It has to stop. The bloody cattle ranchers are vermin. Thx Kelly

The wild horses must be protected. Like the Native Americans, they are a vital part of our heritage. We, the greedy, self serving people of the USA are determined that the only part of our heritage that is to remain is them. Too bad. This world will one day incur the wrath of God and He will tell us who is in charge.

Let's be clear-it is we who are the invasive spices. Horses harm nothing but we do an incredible amount of damage to the planet and the animals who live here. The horses are fine and do no harm. I wish I could say the same for us.

These horses belong to us the citizens of the US and they belong on our public lands. There is enough food for our wild horses, burros and buffalo. The ranchers have been raping our public lands far too long with their sheep and cattle.. They over graze these public land and blame it on our wildlife. It is time our government kick the ranchers and their livestock off our public land instead of using our tax dollars to eradicate our wildlife to please the ranchers.

Marecad hit the nail on the head. Wild horses are not pests. There is nothing greater than to see wild horses running free. Get the cattle off of OUR public lands.
