JUNE 16, 2013 UPDATE ON THE DRAGGED DOG THAT WAS KILLED: The torturer has been arrested!

"The dog killed by Raycho had blood running from the mouth, dissected and phalanges of four feet, and part of the spine, with the flesh of his bottom missing, with skin revealed to bare muscles." These are the words of Judge Stefka Pashova who three times failed to hide her trembling voice muffled by its horror.
The demonstration of extreme and deliberate cruelty, without repentance and behavior of high social risk are part of the reasoning Judge Stefka Pashova gave the worst detention of Topolovets resident Raycho Dimitrov Ivanov. The man refused to say a word in his defense, or to repent, yet asked for a lighter measure.

Shocking scenes are described in the testimony and records of the incident that led to the dog to bleed to death, which shocked the social networks by the end of last week.

Raycho did not show composure with monstrous cruelty and threw the dying dog in the gully a mile outside Kamena, then did not even mention a word to his family for what he did. Moreover, he tried to fool the police the day after the incident, when he explained that the dog probably ran away, when it was actually buried by Raycho himself.

The Prosecutor calls for the worst detention, although the maximum expectation of such an act is imprisonment up to 3 years.

The lawyer for Raycho said that the most likely outcome of the case will be given an administrative sanction, yet the judge in his decision with the argument that apparently caused death implementing Article, an administrative fine is impossible.

There is a high probability that after 3 years in jail, he will return to torture and kill animals, then humans.

If I were judge, this man would be running for his life behind a vehicle - I would be driving and I would drive faster and faster and faster....

Petition signed with 20,867 supporters, but I agree with Arielle - that would be adequate punishment for that creature.

Overjoyed at his arrest--finally. Even if this sinister maggot gets the 3 years which is the max given---it will never be enough 4 one of the worst cases of cruelty I've seen in quite awhile. Personally i'd use this example of animal cruelty to overhaul the animal welfare laws---it's the perfect the world is paying attention. Raise the current max to 6 years minimum and throw his fat ass in a tiny dark cell with the meanest SOB the jail offers up! Either way this thing needs to get off the streets---he's a danger to all living beings. Thanks

When are we going to get smart and start executing these psychopaths? Psychopaths abuse animals today and kill people tomorrow!

Even in Bulgaria, people cannot get away with killing and abusing animals. Raycho Dimitrov deserves many, many years in jail!

Thank you Julie.

Noted, but sentence is not appropriate for such cruelty- life in a secure institution would be more like it.

May he die slowly in prison at the hands of another evil, sadistic monster. The world would be a much better place without the likes of him.

What a vile specimen of our all to often cruel and sick race. 3yrs is nothing, he probably won't even serve that either.
HE WILL REOFFEND AND THE POSSIBILITY OF HIS NEXT TARGET BEING A CHILD IS HIGH - when are we going to learn? Sick, cowards like this go onto bigger and bigger targets as their confidence grows and their fear of consequence lessens.

As punishment let the same be done to him & see how well he fares with this treatment, if he survives then lock him in jail to rot away like this poor dogs life ended! Guilty as charged! Thanks Julie!
