In a Texas abortion clinic, about a dozen women waited Friday to see the doctor, already aware that they would not be able to end their pregnancies there. A day after a federal appeals court allowed most of the state's new abortion restrictions to take...

i HATE (AND I DON'T USE THIS WORD LIGHTLY) POLITICIANS WHO PREY ON WOMAN'S RIGHTS, SPECIALLY THE ONES WHO NEED THIS TYPE OF CLINICS.
I THINK WHAT THEY WANT IS A COUNTRY FULL OF VERY POOR AND UNEDUCATED PEOPLE SO THEY CAN RULE!!!!!

How cruel...now they are sending women to their deaths...years ago my mom had a good friend that died trying to give herself an abortion...I guess that is what they want there. Or else they will have a lot of abandoned babies, and many of those will be crack babies. I think the GOP voting this in should have to legally adopt a couple.

Noted. Thanks, Freya.
This absolutely makes me want to scream.....because it's those without means who will "go without." The wealthiest will always find a doctor to give them a clean & sanitary medical procedure. This takes us back to pre Row v. Wade, and I guess will end up in the Supreme Court. Problem is that it has already been there---it has been "law of the land" for 40 years! For those who don't think we are once again fighting a war that's already been won---think again. NOW is the time for push for 3 more states to approve the Equal Rights Amendment.

Another step backwards for Texas, thanks to Slick Rick and the rest of the misogynistic politicians in that awful state. It isn't enough they are the lowest in many standards of health care, education, wages, etc. now they've got themselves something to be really proud of! Not!!

Remember, slick Rick's sister, Milla Perry Jones, is an executive VP and lobbyist for an ambulatory surgical company in TX so this will certainly pad her wallet too. Slick Rick, of course, doesn't like everyone to know what his sister does for a living. He only wants to save babies right? Only before they are born, never after though.

This makes me sick. Women should have the ability to get an abortion if they want to and not to have to travel so far away to get one.
This would never have been an issue if men were the ones to have the babies!!
